Cancellation Policies.
a). Early booker cancelation policy: For bookings made more than 4 weeks in advance, the booking is fully refundable if you cancel the entire booking, or any date 14 days before the check-in time. b). Late booker cancellation policy: For bookings made within 4 weeks of check-in the booking is fully refundable if you cancel the entire booking, or any date 7 days before the check-in time. In cancellation policy a and b, after the free cancellation period the 30% advance deposit is non-refundable. c). Non-refundable cancellation policy: If you make a booking by paying less than 30% advance deposit all cancellations at all times will be non-refundable and there will be no grace period. d). Last minute/no show cancellation policy: If you cancel less than 72 hours before check-in time, or do not show up for check-in you are legally liable to pay the entire reservation amount. All bookings made more than 72 hours in advance have a 12-hour grace period i.e., you will get full refund if you cancel within 12 hours of booking. These cancellation policies are applicable for direct bookings made on call or on Kalawati Homes website. For bookings made on third party OTAs the cancellation policy mentioned on the OTA listing will be applicable.
Rescheduling Policies.
You can reschedule any booking 72 hours before check-in time. The rescheduled date must not be more than 10 days before or after the original check-in date. The rescheduled booking must be the same duration as the original booking. Rescheduling is subject to availability of the new dates and we will only reschedule if the new dates are available and there are no other enquiries for the new dates. There will be an 10% additional charge for rescheduling. If the price of the new dates is higher than the original dates, guests will be charged the price difference in addition to rescheduling charges.

Kalawati Homes is not liable to provide any services that are not mentioned beforehand in the offer details. We only provide serviced accommodation service for a pre-decided duration to guests for self-use. All facilities provided in the accommodation are mentioned beforehand in offering details. When guests book, they are agreeing to reach and leave the accommodation on their own arrangement. Guests also agree to make their own food/travel arrangements and that they will use, secure and maintain the rented place on their own without any help. Guests must only make reviews, comments and claims pertaining only to the prementioned services provided by Kalawati Homes. Kalawati Homes is not responsible: (i) for any bad experiences arising from any third-party services guests may avail during the stay like food, transport, luggage help, guides, travel agents, etc; (ii) for any issue inside or outside the accommodation that happens before the designated check-in time or after the designated check-out time; (iii) for any poor planning or inadequate arrangements on part of the guest; (iv) for any prior assumptions the guest may have after staying at some other accommodation service. Any claims, reviews or comments blaming Kalawati Homes for issues beyond the scope of our prementioned service will be a breach of agreement.
Staff Services are chargeable.
The reservation amount includes only the rental costs of above stated property & all amenities, any other services that you may avail from staff like cooking, cleaning, room service, delivery, etc. during the stay will have an additional cost. Kalawati homes is not responsible for the availability or quality of these additional services.
Respect Host & Staff.
You are requested to be respectful, civic and polite towards the property, the hosts and the staff while you are within the residential space. Unclean, Loud, Fussy, overly demanding and argumentative behaviour is not appreciated. In extreme cases, if the hosts cite any threat to their peace, property and family space they reserve the right to remove guests from the property and cancel the booking without notice or refund.
Do not Overcrowd the space.
Allowing outsiders and bringing more than permitted number of guests is not allowed. The accommodation is a private residence and right to entry is strictly reserved. In case of extra guests there will be an additional charge per guest.
It is the guest’s responsibility to maintain the property and the cleanliness,
during the duration of their rental period. They must return the property and all amenities as was provided to them at the time of check-in. They must not leave doors and windows open as monkeys or other pests may enter. They must not put any tissues, garbage or food in the sink or commode. They must use Dustbins at all times. They must not litter inside or outside the listing. They must not feed dogs or monkeys. They must not indulge in any potentially fire causing activity, like misusing electrical or flammable items. Guests will be held fully responsible for any damage or deterioration to the property during their rental term.
Damages to the property, or destruction or taking away of items will be penalised.
The penalty will be equal to the current market price of repair and replacement of damaged items + logistics + loss of rental period (if any).
Guests are expected to be environmentally and socially conscious.
Guests must not eat on beds or use house linen to wipe anything but clean water. Guests must dry and reuse their towels. Guests must not waste water. Guests must turn off heating and lights when they go out. If guests carelessly misuse or waste any of these resources the Hosts may deny the same, or refuse to replenish the same.
Smoking in non-designated areas may lead to a penalty of up to 6000 INR.
Adhere to House timings.
Guests must strictly adhere to check-in and checkout timings. They must clear all payments at check-in. Late Checkout or early Check-in can only be available on prior request of at least 12 hours. Extra charges @ 500 INR per hour will be charged if guests arrive unannounced and check-in before the check-in time, or if they check-out late without prior host approval.
